I Lost on Jeopardy

No one asked to be my partner today for a Jeopardy review game in Miss Cercone's Math class.

Take a look at our champs.

Got to Almost all the Rooms

I was able to get to just about every classroom on Wednesday. There's lots to see going on at the school. It was great to see the interactions going on between teachers and students. Hopefully today, I can get to some of the rooms I did not get to see.
The Phillies
Congratulations to the Phillies for making the World Series. I know that we have some huge Phillies fans here at the school and they are ready for whoever wins between the Angels and Yankees.

I hope everyone has their costumes ready and their dancing shoes ready for tonight's dance. It's going to be a great time. I hope to get a ton of great pictures.

Raising Money
We raised over $100 today for cancer research. Thank you to all the students who paid a dollar to wear a hat today, and thanks to students and staff for wearing yellow today. One more great big thank you to Mrs. Stauffer for organizing the hat day.

Pass Ball With Mr. Bruno

Today I got to see Mr. Bruno's 6 Orange class play pass ball. It is a great game that teaches one how to throw a football and also combines passing and moving skills of soccer and basketball. It looked like the kids were having a blast. Check it out.

To The Pumpkin Patch and Beyond

At the Pumpkin Patch

My daughter and I had a great day at the Pumpkin Patch on Friday. We got to walk around the farm and check out the different animals...mainly cows and goats. We also got to go for a tractor ride out to the fields where we got to pick our own pumpkin. Of course we had to get the biggest one we could find.

A Visit to Curtin Middle School

I want to thank my good friends Principal Pardoe and Assistant Principal Poole who allowed me to visit them at Curtin Middle School Friday afternoon. Above is a picture of them from when they played in the Williamsport Area HS Alumni Soccer Match. I got a great opportunity to see how their school has progressed over the past three years and came away with some great ideas for our school.
On Sunday, we're going to Hershey Park. I'll try to post some pictures while I'm there. Have a great weekend.

And The Week Begins

Did You Get the License Plate Number?

Security cameras at the school picked up this high speed racer today. If anyone knows who this person is
, please contact me immediately...just kidding Officer Engleman. Today, Officer Engleman provided a great opportunity for some of our high school students to see how impaired your vision (and driving) becomes after drinking alcohol. He used specially designed goggles to produce the impaired vision. He even had a pair of goggles that represented night time driving.

PSTA Meetin
g

Tonight PSTA had their first meeting of the school year in the middle school library. It was great to see the level of involvement and dedication from the members of the organization.
